I’m the wash and wear kind of person when it comes to my hair, no matter what length or style I’m sporting. But I know that there are a lot of girls (and boys) that rely a lot on various tools and accessories when it comes to fixing and styling their hair. Hair irons are particularly useful and popular for those who want to straighten and style their hair so we don’t run out of products and even concepts for these.

Designer Tae Hyeong Kim has come up with a concept called MOHA! or Modular Hair Iron. It’s a smart and collector-worthy invention (well if it sees the light of day) that brings professional styling power to your vanity table. It streamlines your routine with its modular design so whether you need a straightener, curling iron, or waver, you can just swap out the various attachments. Whether you want sleek straight hair, bouncy curls, or trendy waves, MOHA! transforms in seconds to suit your mood.

Designer: Tae Hyeong Kim

The design philosophy shines through in MOHA!’s minimalist yet playful look. The iron features smooth, rounded edges and comes in a palette of soft, modern colors that make it feel more like a designer accessory than a utilitarian appliance. The modular components click together with satisfying precision, offering a tactile experience every time you use or reconfigure it. Each attachment is crafted with care, showing off Kim’s attention to both function and form. The modular nature also means future upgrades or limited-edition plates could make this an ever-evolving collectible.

This isn’t just looks as safety and ease of use are baked into every detail. The device heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly, which means fewer passes, less damage, and faster styling. Swapping out attachments is intuitive: just a simple click and you’re ready for your next look. There’s even a thoughtful power cord design that swivels, so you won’t get tangled up mid-style.

This hair iron concept is a celebration of creativity, design, and smart living. Whether you’re a beauty enthusiast, a collector of innovative gadgets, or just someone who wants more from their morning routine, this modular hair iron is sure to delight. It’s sleek, sustainable, and endlessly versatile and can be a worthy addition to any collection or daily regimen.

Remember when slapping a case on your phone felt like admitting defeat; a bulky, rubbery admission that you valued function over form? Thankfully, times have changed. Now, cases are as much about expressing yourself as they are about surviving that dreaded butter-fingers moment. And in the world of gaming, especially with the newly debuted Nintendo Switch 2, that need for protection and personality becomes even more crucial, SUPCASE is redefining how gamers think about protection – not as an afterthought, but as part of the gaming ritual.

Let’s be real, the Nintendo Switch is basically a handheld shrine to our favorite digital worlds; a device we’ll clutch on commutes, huddle with on couches, and maybe, just maybe, rage-quit less when it’s wrapped in something that can take a beating. Now in its second avatar, the Switch 2 even more capable, even more powerful, and arguably, deserving of an even more design-driven approach when it comes to accessories. Enter Jet Weng, Design Director at SUPCASE, and the mastermind behind the company’s philosophy of fusing robust protection with thoughtful design. His approach isn’t about slapping armor on tech, it’s about creating a symbiotic relationship between the device and the user.

Weng’s journey began, unsurprisingly, with a childhood steeped in tinkering with the most vivid memory being that of disassembling his uncle’s Walkman at the age of 10. “Every day of my childhood was surrounded by the process of taking devices apart, diagnosing problems, repairing, and reassembling,” he recalls. This hands-on education fostered a deep understanding of how things work; a foundation upon which he would later build his design ethos. It’s this innate curiosity that sets his work apart, first with his Behance portfolio that prioritized “feasible concepts that are fused with a poetic touch”, followed by his journey to turn protective cases into engineered solutions rather than mere accessories.

The SUPCASE UB Pro for the Switch 2 is a prime example of Weng’s vision. The UB Pro is a meticulously crafted exoskeleton designed to enhance the Switch 2 experience, not hinder it. It boasts military-grade protection, meeting MIL-STD-810G standards; meaning it can withstand some serious drops and bumps. A 2.5mm raised bezel shields the screen from scratches, while the ergonomic grip and anti-slip texture ensure a secure, comfortable hold, even during marathon gaming sessions.

But the UB Pro is more than a fortress; it’s a testament to Weng’s belief in blending “feasibility” with a “poetic touch.” The case’s design is streamlined, hugging the console and Joy-Cons without adding unnecessary bulk. Constructed from German Bayer polycarbonate, the material resists yellowing, dust, and fingerprints, maintaining its clarity and premium feel over time. It’s a case that looks good, feels good, and performs even better.

Anyone who owned the original Switch knows the frustration of removing a case every time you wanted to dock and play on the big screen. The first-ever person to attempt solving this problem, Weng addressed this pain point head-on with SUPCASE’s original dockable Switch case; a product that was a first of its kind and quickly became a gamer favorite. He recalls, “The biggest challenge was making sure the case didn’t interfere with the Switch’s connection to the dock.” The team went through countless prototypes, tweaking dimensions and internal structures until they achieved a perfect fit. This dedication to solving real-world problems is what elevates SUPCASE’s designs above the competition.

Jet Weng

Weng doesn’t just design cases; he designs experiences. He starts by analyzing user pain points, then collaborates with his team to brainstorm creative, yet feasible solutions. He understands that good design is subjective, depending on the product’s purpose. “For example, with a repair tool, function is always the top priority; but for something like a lipstick case, form may take precedence,” he explains. For the UB Pro, function and form are in perfect harmony; protection and ergonomics blend seamlessly with aesthetics.

Mexico City hosts the inaugural Electronics Home Mexico today through June 19, 2025, at Centro Banamex. The three-day trade fair marks Grupo Eletrolar’s expansion into North America after 17 years of organizing successful electronics events across Brazil and Argentina.

The event spans 10,000 square meters of exhibition space, showcasing over 300 exhibitors and drawing major buyers from Mexico, Central America, and South America. Carlos Clur, CEO of Grupo Eletrolar, presents this launch as the third component of Latin America’s “business triathlon,” joining the established Eletrolar Show in Brazil and Electronics Home Argentina.

Strategic Market Position and Organizational Excellence

Mexico consolidates itself as the new regional center for the consumer electronics industry amid international uncertainty marked by tariff tensions and commercial disputes with the United States. The timing proves crucial as Mexico’s import market reaches approximately $467 billion annually, creating substantial opportunities for electronics manufacturers and distributors optimizing supply chains and ensuring timely product delivery across Latin America.

“Mexico is a challenge, but it’s something in our strategy that we need to do, because we want to integrate Latin America total market,” explains Carlos Clur. “We are in the three biggest markets. Mexico was the second, at least the second economy. So we needed to put the feet here.” The CEO acknowledges the complexity of entering Mexico’s concentrated retail landscape while emphasizing the strategic importance of creating a unified Latin American electronics ecosystem.

The fair features consumer electronics, large and small home appliances, telecommunications equipment, and technology products. Exhibitors display smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart TVs, audio devices, gaming consoles, washing machines, refrigerators, microwaves, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners, and IoT solutions. The event showcases more than 600 exhibitors and high-level executives , with over 1,000 international brands participating. The fair operates daily from 11:00 to 19:00 hours throughout the three-day period.

Grupo Eletrolar brings extensive experience from managing two major regional events. The Eletrolar Show in São Paulo occupies 50,000 square meters at Distrito Anhembi, attracting over 40,000 visitors and featuring more than 600 exhibitors showcasing 12,000 products from 1,500 brands. Electronics Home Argentina, running at Centro Costa Salguero from June 30 to July 2, 2025, serves as the country’s most important business fair for household goods and consumer electronics.

The organization implements proven programs including the VIP Buyer Program, which sponsors airfare and accommodation for qualified buyers from South and Central American countries attending all three fairs in the business triathlon. The Matchmaking Program facilitates pre-scheduled meetings between distributors and retailers, ensuring direct contact with potential buyers.

Walking Through the Ultimate Electronics Treasure Hunt

The exhibition floor delivers exactly what you’d expect from a hybrid of Amazon’s endless variety, Best Buy’s tech showcase energy, and TJ Maxx’s treasure-hunting excitement. Within minutes of entering, unexpected discoveries emerge around every corner.

At one booth, a cold bourbon dispenser catches attention not for its electronics, but for solving a problem whiskey enthusiasts know well. “If you add ice, that means you reduce the taste of the whiskey,” explains the exhibitor, demonstrating how their $250 USD unit maintains optimal temperature without dilution. The compressor-based system preserves the pure taste that ice traditionally compromises.

Here’s where trade fairs get interesting. Despite being neither a bourbon enthusiast nor someone who typically drinks whiskey at 11 AM on a Tuesday morning, the sample proved impossible to refuse. The cold bourbon hit differently than expected: smooth, clean, and surprisingly palatable even to someone who usually avoids brown liquor. The exhibitor’s point about ice dilution became clear immediately. This wasn’t the harsh bite associated with room-temperature whiskey, nor the watered-down taste from melted ice. The controlled temperature created an entirely different drinking experience.

For bars and restaurants, this represents the kind of specialized solution that makes B2B trade fairs valuable. The minimum order quantity (MOQ) conversation reveals the fair’s true nature. At 100-200 units minimum, this isn’t consumer retail. The unexpected morning bourbon tasting also highlights how these events blur professional boundaries: where else would trying whiskey at 11 AM count as market research?

A few aisles over, CJ Tech from Guangzhou displays 100-inch televisions that reveal the complex economics behind consumer electronics. The company operates as a pure ODM/OEM manufacturer, producing displays for European markets, Middle East, Africa, and select US clients. Their booth showcases the invisible supply chain powering familiar brands.

The pricing structure tells the real story. A standard 100-inch 4K TV costs $900 USD at factory level, while the Mini LED version jumps to $1,800 USD. The MOQ requires a minimum order, but their standard container capacity holds 46 units, meaning a single container of Mini LED displays represents an $82,800 investment at factory pricing. “American market certification cost is very high,” explains the representative, revealing why US electronics carry premium pricing. Certification alone costs 100,000 Chinese yuan (approximately $14,000 USD), making small orders economically unfeasible.

The mathematics become clearer when considering volume. While the factory price seems reasonable, certification costs must be distributed across units sold. For a single container of 46 Mini LED TVs, the $14,000 certification adds roughly $300 per unit. For smaller orders of one or two containers, this burden becomes prohibitive. The representative explains why “American customers want one container, two containers, but the certification cost is very high.”

This conversation illuminates why certain markets dominate global electronics. The certification barrier explains why CJ Tech focuses on European and African markets, where regulatory costs prove more manageable. The $1,800 factory price becomes significantly higher after logistics, certification, and regulatory compliance, explaining why a comparable 100-inch Hisense TV retails for $5,000 USD in American markets.

The company also produces speakers for Hisense and displays for Harman, demonstrating how major brands rely on specialized ODM partners. Their booth features products destined for Amazon’s private label program, revealing the interconnected nature of global electronics distribution. The Mini LED technology costs “between double and triple” the standard 4K version due to enhanced local dimming capabilities that improve color reproduction.

CEO Vision: Building Latin America’s Connected Electronics Ecosystem

Carlos Clur’s strategy extends beyond individual trade fairs to create an integrated regional marketplace. “We want to create these meetings with the C-level executives. They can create joint ventures, ideas to produce in Mexico, ideas to create alliances with the retail, with the suppliers, with the industry, with the components market,” he explains. “We want to have this industry more connected. This connection makes the economy stronger.”

The challenge lies in Mexico’s retail concentration. “The retail is very concentrated in some points, the industry also,” Clur acknowledges. “What we are doing for our challenge is bring the small retail, medium retail, and the big ones, but also the most strategic is bring the neighboring countries.” This international approach distinguishes Electronics Home Mexico from domestic trade shows.

Clur emphasizes the fair’s role in democratizing business opportunities. “Maybe this small retail in the future will be a big retail, and this is something that for us is important. Also bring professionals to the show, create strong relations for long term.” He describes how a single connection can transform businesses: “One company in a show can change the life, the economic life, because they said, ‘Okay, Walmart, make an order.'”

The CEO recognizes technology’s role in market education. “Journalists and influencers, they connect with the consumers, show the new technology, the new prototypes, the new trends, and they promote the industry,” he explains. In Brazil, Grupo Eletrolar works with influencers commanding 50 million followers, while Mexico features Shark Tank personalities discussing artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship.

Even Clur participates in the discovery process, purchasing a recording device from a Mexican company during the fair. “This is our work,” he concludes, emphasizing that successful B2B events require continuous investment in matchmaking programs, buyer initiatives, and marketing campaigns to “bring the right people to the right place.”

Understanding the Hidden Value Chain

These conversations provide invaluable insight into electronics pricing that consumers never see. Walking through Electronics Home Mexico offers education worth thousands of dollars in business consulting fees. The direct access to ODM manufacturers, MOQ discussions, and certification cost breakdowns reveal why electronics cost what they do in different markets.

The bourbon dispenser conversation alone demonstrates how specialized B2B products find their markets. Understanding that 100-unit minimums separate consumer purchases from commercial distribution explains why certain products remain invisible to regular shoppers. These aren’t products you find on Amazon or Best Buy shelves, yet they represent significant business opportunities for the right buyers.

The CJ Tech discussion provides even deeper value. Learning that a $5,000 consumer TV starts at $1,800 factory pricing, then understanding how certification costs, logistics, retailer margins, and brand premiums build the final price, offers insights typically reserved for industry insiders. The revelation that certification costs can add $300 per unit for small orders explains why electronics companies focus on high-volume markets.

This knowledge transforms how you view electronics retail. Every smartphone, television, or appliance carries similar hidden costs and supply chain complexities. The fair provides direct access to manufacturers who typically remain invisible behind brand names, offering education about global trade mechanics that business schools struggle to teach.

These discoveries encapsulate the fair’s treasure-hunt atmosphere. Buyers arrive expecting smartphones and appliances, but leave with deep understanding of supply chain economics, MOQ requirements, and certification barriers that reshape pricing strategies. Each conversation reveals the complex calculations behind consumer electronics pricing, from factory floor to retail shelf.

Current Impact and Business Integration

Electronics Home Mexico strengthens Latin America’s position in global electronics trade while addressing international trade tensions. The event targets Chinese companies seeking strategic partnerships in Mexico, capitalizing on shifting supply chain dynamics amid global uncertainty.

For exhibitors, participating in Electronics Home Mexico represents the opportunity to position themselves as innovation leaders in the sector. Direct contact with highly specialized audiences allows companies to understand market needs and adjust commercial strategies with valuable information about consumption trends and behaviors. The event positions itself as a platform designed for real retail, where inspiration, innovation, and action converge , rather than simply an exhibition space. This approach mirrors the successful format established at Eletrolar Show, facilitating in-person meetings between industry and retail partners to eliminate trade barriers and enhance networking opportunities.

Mexico City serves as an economic hub for the entire region, with the country recognized as a regional center with modern infrastructure enabling efficient logistics throughout the continent. The location proves strategic given Mexico’s increasing role in global supply chains and manufacturing, especially as companies seek alternatives amid international trade disputes.

The Mexico-Brazil Chamber provides institutional support, reflecting the event’s role in strengthening bilateral trade relationships. Media coverage includes partnerships with outlets like Infobea, Energía Hoy, and Canton Fair Net, ensuring broad industry awareness across Spanish and Portuguese-speaking markets.

The opening day draws thousands of qualified visitors and hundreds of confirmed exhibitors across consumer electronics, home appliances, and related technology sectors. The event attracts decision-makers from retail chains, specialty stores, e-commerce platforms, and distribution networks throughout Mexico and neighboring regions. Attendees engage in business rounds, networking sessions, innovation forums, and conferences covering market opportunities in Mexico. These components mirror successful formats from the Brazilian and Argentine events, adapted for the Mexican market’s specific characteristics.

“This is the only show that Mexico has for consumer electronics,” Clur notes, emphasizing the event’s unique position in the market. “We believe that we will arrive with a very strong network in Latin America. This is our differential, but we think we have very long work for the next years.”

The inaugural Electronics Home Mexico establishes Grupo Eletrolar’s presence in North America’s largest Spanish-speaking market, completing their regional coverage across Latin America’s three major economic centers while addressing the current global trade environment’s challenges and opportunities. Early activity indicates strong interest from both exhibitors and buyers, with business meetings already underway across the exhibition floor. The event demonstrates Mexico’s growing importance as a strategic hub for electronics trade in the Americas.

The Spigen Apple Watch Classic C1 Charger Stand for the Apple Watch is not as compact, portable, and innovative as my fast charger that completely eliminates the cable and offers a USB drive-style device comprising a magnetic puck and a USB-C dongle. Nor is it anything like this useful charging cable you can use to juice up any gadget on one end and the Apple Watch on the other. Yet, the Spigen offering is the finest of them all; not just for its recognizable appearance, but also its functionality.

Apple Watch Ultra is arguably the finest smartwatch you can own right now. Garmin has its fan base, but the more casual takers wouldn’t deny the reliability and quality of the Ultra. It is equipped with a powerful processor and high-quality display, but the battery tends to let you down. At least I have to put my watch on its puck almost every night before dozing off, and that’s how I cannot monitor my sleep patterns or have a quick glance at the time in the middle of the night since the watch is lying flat on the nightstand atop its rudimentary charger.

Designer: Spigen

For those who love all things Apple, and have a special place in the heart for the iMac, the new Spigen charger, inspired by the looks of the Apple iMac G3, is waiting to change the little bit of the everyday Apple Watch charging woes. What really stands out, and should make my life simpler, is the slanted front of the accessory, which the company says, should make for a more comfortable viewing angle when you want to check the time on the watch between charges.

The charger with a design mimicking the iMac G3 has a white slanting front where the Apple Watch clips on magnetically, while the back is (like the original) a colorful translucent shell. Interestingly, the Spigen Classic C1 doesn’t come with its own charger; you will instead have to use your own charging puck, threading its USB cable through the iMac G3’s body and stationing the magnetic puck on its front. The rear shell of the accessory is made from polycarbonate, while a silicone base ensures the charging stand grips well on the tabletop. The Spigen Apple Watch Classic C1 Charger Stand is compatible with all Apple Watches after Series 4, including the Watch Ultra versions. The charger would also let users juice up their AirPods Pro 2.

If you’re interested in what Spigen is delivering, you would have to shell out a minimum of $34.99 for it. For this affordable price, you get a classic mini-Macintosh you can use to charge the Apple Watch. It comes in those recognizable Tangerine, Graphite, Bondi Blue, and Ruby colors. The charger is available in the US through the brand’s website and Amazon, while its possible release in Europe and other parts of the world is still under wraps.

Wireless charging is showing up everywhere these days, promising a life without tangled cords and cluttered outlets. Still, as cool as it sounds, today’s wireless charging often feels a little underwhelming. You have to find the exact spot on the pad, and your device needs to be pressed right up against it. Most of the time, it is just enough to top up your phone, but not much else.

For those dreaming of a world where you can drop anything on your desk and watch it light up, the wait might not be as far off as it seems. Thanks to a jaw-dropping DIY project, the idea of a truly wireless workspace is not just wishful thinking anymore. This clever build pulls back the curtain and shows what it really looks like to have a desk without a single cable peeking out.

Designer: Matthew Perks (DIY Perks)

The secret sauce behind this futuristic setup is a technology from Etherdyne (ETI) which delivers an impressive 100W of power completely through the air. It is not a commercial product just yet, but it is light-years ahead of the average charging pad. The challenge is not the tech itself, but making it work in a way that fits into everyday life so that ordinary people can see the appeal.

The desk itself is a work of art, crafted from plywood not just for its looks, but for its function. Wood does not block the magnetic fields that power the system, and it is easy to shape and modify for all the hidden electronics. The result is a workspace that looks natural and timeless, with every bit of magic tucked away inside the panels and legs.

Of course, a little bit of wiring is still lurking beneath the surface. The main cable running from the wall socket to the power supply, along with the one looping around the desk to create the wireless “bubble,” are all cleverly hidden. Even the Framework Laptop mainboard, which acts as the desk’s built-in computer, is stowed away with its own power cord, out of sight and out of mind.

The real showstopper is what happens on the surface. Keyboards and mice keep the illusion alive with their own batteries, but the real stars are the custom-modified speakers, microphone, and monitor stand. Each one was painstakingly altered to draw power from the desk’s invisible field, meaning everything works without any cords trailing across the desk. Pulling this off is no small feat; it is definitely a project for the hardcore DIY crowd.

There are still plenty of hurdles to jump before everyone can enjoy a cable-free desk, especially the price tag for this kind of setup. But this build is a glimpse of what the future could look like, a promise that someday, we might finally get to say goodbye to the cable jungle for good.

Your everyday carry setup says a lot about who you are. Whether you’re a craftsman who demands precision tools or an outdoor enthusiast who needs reliable gear, the right knife can make all the difference. The Ezsharp 2.0 Titanium Folding Utility Knife isn’t just another blade for your pocket. It’s a game-changer that combines premium materials with innovative design.

Most folding knives force you to choose between strength and weight, but the Ezsharp 2.0 throws that compromise out the window. Built from premium titanium alloy, this folding knife delivers incredible strength while staying remarkably lightweight in your pocket. You get the durability you need without the bulk that weighs you down during long days on the job or weekend adventures.

Titanium brings some serious advantages to the table that make it worth the investment. Unlike traditional stainless steel options, titanium offers natural resistance to rust and corrosion, so your knife stays sharp and reliable whether you’re working in humid conditions, caught in unexpected rain, or dealing with extreme temperatures. This means your tool performs consistently regardless of what Mother Nature throws your way.

The real genius of the Ezsharp 2.0 lies in its dual-blade storage system. Instead of carrying multiple cutting tools or constantly searching for the right blade, you can swap between different scalpel blade types depending on your task. Need precision for detailed work? Switch to a fine-point blade. Tackling heavy-duty cutting? Pop in a robust utility blade and get to work.

This innovative storage design uses powerful magnets to secure blades in both the active position and the backup compartment. The magnetic retention system ensures your blades stay exactly where they should be, eliminating the wobble and play that plague cheaper alternatives. You can trust that your cutting edge will be stable and precise when you need it most.

The engineering extends beyond just storage, though. The Ezsharp 2.0 accepts six different scalpel blade formats, including #18, #20, #21, #22, #23, and #24. This compatibility gives you access to specialized blade geometries for everything from cardboard breakdown to precision crafting. Having options means you can tackle any cutting challenge without compromise.

Craftsmen will appreciate the attention to detail in the construction. Every component except the replaceable blades comes from precision CNC machining, ensuring tight tolerances and smooth operation. The stainless steel blade holder receives proper heat treatment for longevity, while the frame lock mechanism provides a secure lockup that you can depend on during demanding tasks.

The flipper opening system makes one-handed deployment effortless, perfect when your other hand is busy holding materials or managing your workspace. This practical design consideration shows that the makers understand how working professionals actually use their tools. You shouldn’t have to fumble with complicated mechanisms when time matters and precision counts.

For EDC enthusiasts, the compact profile means the Ezsharp 2.0 disappears in your pocket without printing or creating uncomfortable bulk. The titanium construction keeps the weight down to levels that won’t throw off your carry balance, yet provides the strength to handle serious cutting tasks when called upon.

The combination of premium materials, thoughtful engineering, and practical functionality makes the Ezsharp 2.0 stand out in a crowded market. This folding knife represents what happens when designers listen to users and create solutions for real-world problems. Whether you’re a professional who depends on reliable tools or an enthusiast who appreciates quality gear, the Ezsharp 2.0 delivers performance that justifies its place in your everyday carry rotation.

The Japanese art of origami has been a significant source of inspiration for a lot of product designers as it provides solutions for creating dynamic, compact, and adaptable products that can transform from flat sheets into complex 3D structures. The folding techniques and look offer advantages like space-efficiency, portability, and reconfigurability, making them valuable for various applications, no matter what your product design is.

Mark Goudy’s Origami series is a crystalline fusion of technical precision and poetic abstraction. These porcelain sculptures seem folded from paper yet are born of code and clay. Rooted in the elegant simplicity of Japanese origami, these pieces are not mere imitations: they embody Goudy’s belief in “minimal forms with hidden complexity. He uses algorithmic design to generate intricate folds, including creases shaped with elliptic, parabolic, sine and cosine curves.

Designer: Mark Goudy

From these digital files he is able to 3D-print mother moulds, then he crafts plaster casts and slip-casts porcelain and then he sands each piece meticulously by hand. Many of these pieces rock gently on their folds as they naturally set into their point of equilibrium. The forms are slip-cast in thin, translucent white or black porcelain, creating a tactile, paper-thin effect that captures light and shadow.

Goudy then applies metallic salt watercolors like gold, cobalt, chromium, directly on bisqueware. The salts seep into the clay, shading the edges and folds in delicate hues from red to cobalt blue which is a nod to “water and distance.” The designer has a background in biology, lab chemistry, music, and engineering which he sometimes incorporates in his designs. His pieces evoke natural landscapes: dunes, waves, snow-laden lanterns. The Origami series, particularly, conjure winter’s crisp air and delicate candlelight, translating logic and geometry into visual poetry.

Mark Goudy stands out as a rare artist who blends engineering, chemistry, and ceramics into a coherent, expressive practice. His Origami series exemplifies this synergy, where mathematics gives way to meditation, and porcelain becomes paper, landscape, and lantern all at once. Each sculpture is a container for light, atmosphere, and mindful stillness, inviting viewers to pause and reflect. The precision of digital design meets the unpredictability of firing and glazing, creating a dynamic tension between control and chance. Through these delicate forms, Goudy not only reinterprets the ancient art of origami but also pushes the boundaries of what porcelain can convey, transforming it into a medium of quiet power and contemplative beauty.

Every once in a while, a piece of jewelry comes along that feels like it was plucked straight from a daydream. Studio GOGO’s playful rings are exactly that: a clever blend of grown-up style and childlike wonder, created in the heart of Berlin. These curious little treasures are not your typical rings. They bring together the gleam of precious metal and the snap-happy fun of those colorful building bricks we all know and love.

At first glance, Studio GOGO’s rings look every bit the part of fine jewelry. Crafted from sterling silver or swathed in a warm gold finish, each ring is smooth and polished on the inside, with a softly matte outer surface that catches the light just right. The feel is weighty and satisfying, a reminder that these are serious pieces of craftsmanship. But then, you spot the top—an unmistakable grid ready and waiting for a set of bright, interlocking toy bricks.

Designer: Studio GOGO

That’s where the magic happens. The rings are secretly engineered to let you snap on your favorite mini blocks, figures, or even a tiny flower or two. One moment it’s a sleek, minimalist band, and the next it’s a miniature sculpture showing off your mood, your favorite color, or that little character you’ve kept since you were five. It is a grown-up accessory that refuses to take itself too seriously.

There is something irresistible about the contrast. On the one hand, you have the careful artistry of Berlin’s jewelry makers, each piece lovingly crafted, each detail considered. On the other, you get the joyful unpredictability of play. The result is a ring that feels both precious and playful, as comfortable at a gallery opening as it is at a weekend picnic. It is the kind of jewelry that starts conversations, sparks smiles, and, if we are being honest, invites a little envy from anyone who ever spent an afternoon building castles and spaceships on the living room floor.

The real fun comes from the endless ways you can personalize your ring. Swap out colors to match your outfit, add a whimsical figure for a laugh, or keep it simple with a single bright block. There is no wrong way to wear it—only your way. For those who love a bit of tactile fidgeting, it is hard to resist the urge to snap, unsnap, and rebuild all day long.

Studio GOGO’s rings are more than just a fashion statement. They are a wearable wink at nostalgia, a reminder that even as adults, we do not have to leave our sense of play behind. With every click and snap, these rings invite you to carry a little piece of childhood on your finger, wrapped in the glow of silver or gold. When living in a world that sometimes feels a little too serious, it’s nice to have a ring that invites you to play.

The modern desk setup has become a shape-shifting, cross-platform hybrid jungle. You could be dialing into a Zoom call from your kitchen one hour, then editing a podcast in a café, or debugging code in a coworking space the next. Laptops give us that freedom. But they also rob us of screen real estate. That’s the pain point JSAUX is betting on with the FlipGo Horizon – a portable tri-screen rig that turns your laptop into a Swiss Army Knife of displays and hyper-productivity.

In its most compact form, FlipGo Horizon is a tidy slab of aluminum and glass no thicker than a hardcover book. But unfold the Snap Stand, magnetically attach two 15.6-inch panels on either side of your laptop, and you’re suddenly surrounded by a panoramic digital workspace. The system pivots between work and play, creator and coder, remote warrior and weekend traveler… and with a $359 starting price tag that sort of feels unbelievable for what it provides.

Designer: JSAUX

Click Here to Buy Now: $359 $459 ($100 off). Hurry, only 358 of 500 units left! Raised over $60,000.

The Snap Stand is where this portability meets structure. The Standard version is the minimalist pick. It’s a passive stand that simply holds the screens in position and routes video from your laptop through two separate cables. There’s no hub built in, so you’ll need dual USB-C video outputs (or Mini HDMI plus USB-C for power) to make it work. macOS, Windows, and Linux users are all supported, but only if your machine can deliver dual external video signals. That rules out most base MacBooks or Windows machines with limited output bandwidth.

The Snap Stand Pro, on the other hand, acts like the brains of the operation. It’s not just a bracket. It has a built-in hub with two USB-C Gen2 10 Gbps ports for display input, three USB 3.1 ports for peripherals, a Gigabit Ethernet jack, and dual USB-C PD inputs that can either power the system or reverse charge your laptop. In plain terms: with the Pro, your laptop can run all three screens, stay charged, and connect to hard drives or wired internet, all through a single USB-C cable, assuming your device supports it. This version skips Linux support for now, but runs smoothly on all M-Series Macs and modern Windows laptops with USB-C DP Alt Mode.

The screens themselves are 15.6-inch IPS panels with a resolution of 1920×1080, 300 nits brightness, and 100% sRGB color gamut. They’re not retina-grade, nor are they HDR, but they are purpose-built for productivity. The screens have two USB-C ports and a Mini HDMI input, which gives you flexibility depending on your laptop’s video out situation. They’re 12mm thick – perfectly portable with most roomy laptop bags. And they support reverse charging, so if needed, they can send power back to your laptop.

But the FlipGo Horizon ecosystem goes well beyond screens on hinges. Its different operating modes are tailored to specific types of users… and if you’ve ever tried juggling spreadsheets, a Zoom call, and an email inbox on a single screen, you’ll immediately understand the appeal.

Horizon Mode is the headline act. With all three displays mounted, you get a panoramic workflow: maybe Slack on the left, Premiere Pro in the middle, and reference visuals on the right. It’s especially potent for editors, engineers, or financial analysts who constantly swap between windows. You can also rotate the side panels into vertical mode for coding or document work. This transforms your workspace from a screen-limited laptop into a control center that travels with you.

Stack Mode is simpler but just as clever. It lets you mount one screen vertically above the other – a godsend for developers reading logs, writers referencing outlines, or data workers working through tall spreadsheets. It eliminates tab switching and adds that second layer of context above your main screen.

Solo Mode is perfect for travelers or hybrid workers. Attach just one Snap Screen and use it as a second display on a flight, in a hotel, or at a coffee shop. No awkward dual-monitor arms or need for a power outlet, as long as your laptop’s USB-C port delivers enough juice.

Then there’s the SnapMag ecosystem – magnets along the Snap Stand that let you attach accessories like an iPhone, an iPad, a webcam light, or even a future custom module. This transforms FlipGo from a display rig into a personalized workstation platform. Creators can mount a reference iPad on one side and a ring light on the other. Business users can snap their phone for hands-free calls.

To be clear, there are limitations, albeit minor ones. These are still 60 Hz displays with 300 nits brightness. In bright sunlight or for color-critical work, they may not suffice. And even with the Pro stand, there’s no internal battery, so you’ll need wall power to keep things running for long. But within those bounds, FlipGo Horizon delivers a level of flexibility and elegance that’s rare in multi-monitor setups.

The real genius is in the modularity. You don’t have to use all three screens every time. You can travel light with one panel, go full Horizon at your desk, or stack two vertically depending on your task. It morphs with your workflow rather than forcing you into rigid configurations. And all of it folds up into a package that fits in your backpack, slots neatly beside your laptop, and doesn’t require a degree in cable management to set up. Quite impressive for something that doubles your laptop’s displays for half the price of a laptop.

Click Here to Buy Now: $359 $459 ($100 off). Hurry, only 358 of 500 units left! Raised over $60,000.
