Rarely do we see something that is able to combine pet furniture with human usability.

The Billyhops Cat Bench Tower is a concept for a multifunctional piece of furniture for both the human and the fur baby. When unfolded, the tower transforms into a multi-level, vertical playground, offering curious felines the chance to climb, stretch, explore, or curl up for a nap. Each level caters to their natural instincts, giving them a secure space to perch and observe their surroundings like the true rulers of the house they are. On the flip side, when the unit is folded up, it transitions into what the brand calls “human mode”—a sleek, minimalist bench that fits effortlessly into contemporary living spaces. Its clean lines and wooden finish allow it to blend with various interior styles, eliminating the need to stash away or disguise bulky pet furniture when not in use.

Crafted from premium plywood, the tower boasts durability and aesthetic appeal. It also has felt-covered cushions secured by velcro straps. Safety is of course important so there are gas struts on each corner which provide controlled resistance during folding and unfolding. This way, it is able to prevent sudden collapses and will not harm your pet or yourself when in use. There are also locking pins to ensure the structure remains securely in place. There are other additional elements like a hammock, a resting platform, and a scratch post. The cat tower can support up to 15 kg so it can accomodate two average-sized cats. The tower itself weighs 18kg and can fit in the backseat of a standard car so it can be easily transportable. There is also no assembly required as it comes fully assembled.

While your Echo Dot sits sadly collecting dust on your kitchen counter, Ballie actively pursues you throughout your living space like an eager puppy—or a particularly friendly surveillance device, depending on your perspective.

“But Vincent,” you might ask, “couldn’t I just carry my phone with me instead?” Sure, but where’s the fun in that? Why use the perfectly functional device already in your pocket when you could have a volleyball-sized robot following you to the bathroom?

Some of the funniest memes I see on social media are photos and videos of dogs that take over their humans’ beds to the point that their owners have to sleep somewhere else. While I don’t have a dog or any pet, I have it on good authority from friends who are fur parents that this is a true story. While your dogs probably have their own beds, it seems that they sleep better if they share the same space with you.

The Dog Hut Bed is a personal project by a fur parent himself who wanted to give his dog their own dedicated area in their bed while also freeing up space for the actual human. While some dogs will still probably prefer to get their owner’s spot, this is an option for those that can be trained, bringing a Scandinavian aesthetic and combining practical piece of furniture but with a touch of warmth between the fur parent and the fur baby.

Basically what he did was add a house-shaped headboard to a regular bed with a space inside for the dog to sleep and rest in. Crafted from oak, this bed frame offers a stylish and functional solution for pet ownersThe bed though has to be low as well so that the dog will not have any trouble getting in (although they of course have their own way of getting onto high beds when they want to). Since you get a slanted headboard, you can also use it as a backrest for when you do some nighttime reading or when you need to work while in bed. Of course this is still dependent on your dog distracting you or if they stay inside their house within your bed.
